Roadhouse is a regular night of improvised performance hosted by Eleanor Sikorski and Lewys Holt.
Eleanor and Lewys are dance artists based between London and Nottingham.
They see that there is lots of improvisation about, but no obvious place to do it or watch it.
Roadhouse is a regular space for artists to practice performing and for audiences to practice watching.
Eleanor and Lewys think that improvisation is political.
Roadhouse is a nomadic night, moving between different venues in across the UK.
With some exceptions, guest artists are based in or near the location of each event.
Roadhouse has no budget.
Each invited artist or group gets an equal split of the ticket sales.
Eleanor and Lewys pay from their own pockets for travel, website, admin and other costs.

Every Roadhouse night consists of four sets:

Guest artist/s
Guest artist/s
Roadhouse House Band
All performers together
